Così, un martedì mattina, Ugo va alla biblioteca Ugo ricorda la biblioteca di cinquant'anni fa: un posto silenzioso, con libri vecchi e una Ugo ha un po' paura.
Ma oggi è tutto diverso. Ci sono computer, ragazzi che studiano, bambini che leggono sui colorati. La è giovane e ha un sul braccio. “Buongiorno! Posso aiutarla?”
“Vorrei prendere un libro”, dice Ugo. “Ha la “No.” “Nessun problema. Mi serve un documento.” Ugo dà la carta Dopo cinque minuti ha una nuova, di plastica blu, con il suo nome.
“Che libri le piacciono?” Ugo pensa. “I E la storia.” La trova tre libri per lui. “Può i libri un mese.” Ugo torna a casa felice. La sera telefona alla figlia. “Domani torno in biblioteca. C'è un corso di computer per anziani!”
