Knowing and Remembering: 知道, 认识, 明白, 记得
Write a short diary entry about your first day at a new school: who you met, one thing you know and one you don't know yet, whether you understood the teacher, and what you remember or forgot.
- Use 认识 for people you met and 知道 for facts you know or don't know
- Say what you did or didn't understand with 明白
- Use 记得 and 忘了 for something you remember and something you forgot
- Use 了 for at least one finished action
