Grandparents, Partners and Children
Your pen friend Chen Jing (陈静) asks: 你有孩子吗？你有爷爷奶奶吗？ Write her a short email: how many children you have (or your parents have), which grandparents you have and don't have, and ask about her family.
- Say how many children someone has with 有 + number + 个 + noun
- Name at least two grandparents or relatives with the right family words (爷爷, 奶奶, 外公, 外婆…)
- Use 没有 for someone you don't have
- Ask how many people are in her family with 几口人
