A School Day: 上课, 考试, 放学
You can't come to school on Friday. Write a short note to your teacher, Teacher Li (李老师): ask for the day off, say why, and ask when the exam is and when classes start and finish next Monday.
- Address your teacher politely (李老师，您好) and end with thanks
- Ask for time off with 请假 and give a reason
- Ask about dates and times with 几号 / 几点
- Use school words such as 上课, 放学 or 考试
