Bring It Out, Walk Back In: Compound Directions

Write a short story (50–120 characters) about moving into a new flat: carrying things in and up the stairs, something that fell or rolled out, and who came over to help.

  • Use verb + direction + 来/去 (搬上去, 滚出来, 走过来)
  • Put a place before the final 来/去 (滚下楼去)
  • Use 进来 or 出去 in direct speech, from the speaker's point of view
  • Tell the events in order with 了 and 这时

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.

0 characters · aim for 50–120
