About to Happen: 要…了 and 快…了

Write a short anecdote (50–120 characters) about a morning when you nearly missed a train: what time it left, who arrived early, when you finally got there, and what was about to happen.

  • Use 就 for something that happened early or easily (七点就到了)
  • Use 才 for something that happened late (才起床), with no 了
  • Use 要…了 or 快(要)…了 for something about to happen
  • Give at least two clock times, one with 差 or 刻

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
