As Long As: 只要…就…
On a learners' forum, someone writes: 学中文太难了，我想放弃。 Write an encouraging reply (50–120 characters): what's enough to make progress, what they should and don't have to do, and what they can do if they only have a little time.
- Use 只要…就… for what is enough to get a result
- Suggest what they can do with 可以 and say what isn't needed with 不用
- Use 只 or 够 to limit or say what's enough
- Add one condition with 如果 or …的话
