Writing practice

Early and On Time: 提前, 及时, 准

Write a short anecdote about a morning when you almost missed an important train or flight: what you had planned, what went wrong, how you rushed, and whether you made it. Write 80–180 characters.

  • Say how far ahead you planned with 提前 + time
  • Tell 及时 (in time) from 准时 (on time)
  • Describe hurrying with 连忙 or 赶紧
  • Use 一…就… for something that happened at once

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
