So Far: Verb + 了 + Time + 了

Write an email to a Chinese teacher you haven't seen for years. Tell them how long you've been doing your current job and other things that are still going on, something you did for a while and then stopped, and what is still the same. Write 80–180 characters.

  • The double 了 for something still going on (工作了两年了)
  • A finished stretch without the final 了 (学了半年)
  • Say what's still the same with 还是 or 仍然
  • Open and close the email politely

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
