Unit 20 review

Your friend 张伟 wants to quit his stable job at a bank and open a small coffee shop. Write him a message: say whether you think it's worth it and why, point out the risks, say what he needs (and doesn't need) to do, give him a strong warning or two, and end by promising to help as much as you can. If you had to make a similar choice once, say so.

  • Worth it or not, with 值得 / 不值得, and the risks with 风险 or 保险
  • Need and necessity: 需要, 有必要 / 没必要, 不必 or 不用
  • Warnings and advice: 千万别 / 千万要, 一定要, 尽量
  • Certainty: 肯定, 大概, 不一定, 恐怕; or your own past choice with 只好 / 不得不
