Unit 21 review

Last weekend you visited your Chinese partner's parents for the first time. Write a message to a friend telling them how it went: how you were welcomed, what you brought, how the dinner went, and a small argument you and your partner had afterwards (and how it ended).

  • Relationship words: 交往, 对象 or 关系 (e.g. 我们交往了一年)
  • Hosting and visiting: 做客, 迎接 or 握手, and a polite phrase such as 请慢用 or 别客气
  • The quarrel: 吵架 / 吵了一架, and 批评 or 否认
  • A pointed question with 难道…吗, 到底 or 干吗

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
