Otherwise: 否则 and 不然
Your younger brother is flying alone for the first time tomorrow morning, and you'll already be at work when he leaves. Write a note (150–280 characters) to leave on the kitchen table: tell him what he must do before he leaves and at the airport, and what will go wrong if he doesn't.
- 否则 + what goes wrong if an instruction isn't followed
- Spoken 不然 after at least one other instruction
- 既然 + an accepted fact, 就 + a conclusion or piece of advice
- Instructions with 一定要, 别 or 记得
