The Law: 法律, 律师, 权利, 义务

You have moved out of a rented flat, but your landlord refuses to return your deposit. Write a formal email (150–280 characters) to a lawyer: explain the situation, say what you think your rights are, and ask whether they can help.

  • Legal words: 法律, 律师, 权利 and 义务
  • 并不 + adjective to reject a claim, in written style
  • Formal words such as 是否, 与 or 贵所
  • 维护 + 权利 for protecting your rights

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
