Unit 1 review

A friend from abroad wants to visit you in China and asks which season is best. Write them a message describing two seasons where you live (the weather, what can go wrong, what's good about it), and tell them that whatever season they choose you'll show them around. Include one sentence about a time you got caught in bad weather.

  • Written season words (春季, 秋季, 冬季…) or 季节, with 寒冷, 潮湿 or 格外 + adjective
  • Weather events: 一阵雨 / 一阵风, 打雷, 闪电, 降温 or 下起雨来
  • A concession with 即使…也, 哪怕…也 or 再 + adjective + 也
  • 不管/无论…都 for 'whatever season you choose', and a result complement like 湿透了

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
