Can't Possibly: V得了 / V不了

Your friend has invited you to a hotpot dinner on Saturday, but you have a problem. Write the phone conversation (150–280 characters) in which you explain why you can't make it and agree on another plan.

  • V不了 for what you can't manage for whatever reason (去不了, 吃不了)
  • 离不开 for something you can't do without
  • 没法儿 for having no way to do something
  • V不了 for an amount (花不了多少钱)

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
