Thunder and Lightning: 打雷, 闪电, 一阵
A sudden storm hit your city yesterday afternoon. Write a short news report (150–280 characters) for your school newsletter: when the storm started, what happened, how far the temperature dropped, and the advice for the next few days.
- 一阵 + 风 / 雨 for a sudden burst
- 打雷 and 闪电, and 下起雨来 for rain that suddenly started
- 降温 and 降到 + a temperature for a cold snap
- Formal weather words such as 寒冷 or 格外 + adjective
