For a law class, write a short summary (150–300 characters) of a court case, real or invented: who sued whom and why, what happened in court, and the verdict and compensation.
- Court vocabulary: 原告, 被告, 提起诉讼, 审理, 判决, 上诉
- 被判 + sentence or compensation
- 依法 for 'in accordance with the law'
- A written passive (为…所) or 受到 / 遭到
