Simply and Obviously: 简直 and 明明

Write a diary entry (150–300 characters) about a day when someone let you down: a colleague who blamed you for their mistake, or a friend who forgot an important promise. Use 简直 to exaggerate, 明明 to show your indignation, and spoken emphasis with 可 or 倒是. End with a shrug.

  • 简直 + exaggeration (简直不敢相信, 简直是…最…的一天)
  • 明明…,却 / 还… for an obvious fact that was ignored
  • 可 or 倒是 for spoken emphasis
  • 算了 or 罢了 to end on a shrug

Pick with a tap, a number key or Space. A Chinese keyboard on your device works in the box below too.
