Passives in Full: 被, 叫, 让, 给
Write a series of chat messages (150–300 characters) to a friend about a terrible day: your umbrella broke, your bike was stolen, your boss told you off, and so on. Use 被 and the spoken passives 叫, 让 and 给 for the things that happened to you.
- 被 with the doer and without it
- 叫 or 让 + doer + verb, the spoken passive
- 给 or 让…给 / 被…给 for colloquial emphasis
- A complement or 了 after every passive verb
