A city forum asks: 'Should companies let their staff work from home?' Write a post (300–500 characters) giving your position. Grant at least one point to the other side and answer it, compare two groups of people, make a firm choice between two ways of working, and include one sentence about what would (or wouldn't) have happened in your own life.
- Concede and counter: 固然…但, 不可否认, and 然而 or 而 to contrast
- A firm choice with 与其…不如… or 宁可…也不/也要…
- Your position, stated and hedged: 在我看来, 我倾向于, 说实话 or 无疑
- A hypothetical or a counterfactual: 就算…也 or 要不是…就/早就…了
