Unit 15 review
A community website is collecting short pieces on the theme 'My hometown, then and now'. Write one (300–500 characters) about a town, village or neighbourhood you know: how it has changed over the years, who has moved in or out, what has got better and what has got worse, and what you think should be done for the people who live there now.
- Gradual change: 逐渐, 逐步, 日益 + adjective, 陆续 or 纷纷
- City and countryside words: 城乡, 郊区, 拆迁, 房价, 民工 / 农民工 or 流动人口
- Welfare and community: 社区, 居民, 养老, 补贴, 志愿者, 为…提供 or 向…捐赠
- One of: 随着…, 一再 / 再三 / 屡次, 无论…都, 凡是…都, 各有各的
