Chengyu Stories: 守株待兔, 画蛇添足, 亡羊补牢
A Chinese primary school wants short stories for its reading corner. Write a modern story for children (200–400 characters) that illustrates 守株待兔, 画蛇添足 or 亡羊补牢 without retelling the original fable. End with the 成语 and what it teaches.
