Because Of … Hence: 因…而…
A local museum is preparing an exhibition on people from your town who became known for something. Write the profile (200–400 characters) of one of them, real or invented, for an exhibition panel. Use 因…而… at least twice, and other uses of 而 (为…而…, 简单而…, 而非).
- 因…而… for cause and result, at least twice (因…而闻名, 因…而改变)
- 为…而… for purpose
- 而 linking two adjectives, or 而非 for 'rather than'
- A neutral written register suitable for a museum panel (生于, 享年, 如今)
