则: Then, Whereas, As For
A Chinese friend can't decide whether to do a master's degree in Britain or in Germany. Write her a comparison (200–400 characters) in a written style, covering costs, length of study, teaching style and work after graduation. Use 则 to contrast the two, and 亦, 均 or 皆 at least twice.
- 则 for 'whereas' between two compared items, at least twice
- 若…，则… for a condition and its consequence
- Written 亦, 均, 皆 or 多为 in place of 也, 都 and 大多是
- A conclusion that depends on her priorities
