Nick works in an office in Manchester. Every day is the same. He gets up at seven and goes to work by train. The train takes twenty minutes.
But today is different. There is a train and there are no trains. So today Nick is walking to work. It takes an hour!
On the train, Nick reads the news on his phone. Today he isn't reading. He is looking at the city. He is walking a park, and the trees are beautiful.
At the office, Nick drinks coffee from the machine. Today his Sara is making real coffee for everyone. "No trains, but good coffee!" she says.
Nick eats lunch at his He eats a sandwich and answers emails. But today the sun is so he is having lunch in the park. He is sitting on the and listening to the birds.
"Nick? What are you doing here?" It is his Mr. Patel. He is having lunch in the park too! "I'm enjoying the sun," says Nick. "Me too," says Mr. Patel, and he sits down next to him.
In the evening, Nick is walking home. His feet but he is smiling. Tomorrow there are trains again. But Nick has a new idea: he wants to walk to work every Friday.
