HSK 7–9 Sampler

A short taste of the advanced HSK: a talk on a social debate, an essay-style reading on 留白, a translation into Chinese and an argumentative essay.

This sampler gives a score out of 100 for listening, reading and writing. The real HSK 7–9 exam is one paper for all three levels, with translation and speaking as well, and its total decides whether you reach level 7, 8 or 9; use the sampler to see what it asks.

Written for the Proficient Chinese level of this course, using only what it and the levels before it teach. An original practice paper, not a real HSK paper.
