Finally Jess had an idea. "Let's go to both cafes right now." "Fine," said Sam. "Mine first." They walked to Sam's cafe. There was the green door, and there was the bookshop. Then Jess stopped and stared.
In the window, a big black cat was sleeping in the sun. Sam looked up. On the corner of the building there was a new "The Corner Cup". The cafe changed its name in the spring. Sam never noticed the new and Jess never saw the green door, because she always used the side entrance.
They looked at each other and the truth. They both loved the same cafe! "So, actually, we agree," said Jess. "Actually, we do," said Sam. They went inside and ordered two flat whites. They were perfect.
